CRISP Wireless at Wagin Woolorama 2025: Connecting Communities and Showcasing Innovation.
Wagin, Western Australia, is well-known for its vibrant community spirit, and the Wagin Woolorama is one of the region's premier events, showcasing everything that the Upper Great Southern has to offer. Held annually, the event attracts locals and visitors alike, with a rich display of agriculture, livestock, and regional culture. 2025's Woolorama on Friday, March 7th, was no exception, with thousands of visitors braving the heat to enjoy the excitement and innovation that this beloved event brings.
Temperatures soared to around 38-40°C on Friday, making it a sweltering day for those attending the event. While the heat kept many at home or seeking cooler spots, the CRISP Wireless team made the most of the conditions by hosting visitors in our air-conditioned shed. We connected with guests and shared information about the latest bow to our string; CRISP NBN, and discussed our fixed wireless network growth. Being one of the quieter days of the two-day event, we took the opportunity to venture out and explore the grounds, engaging with other exhibitors and attendees. Our team had the chance to connect with a range of businesses and individuals, contributing to the strong sense of community that defines Wagin Woolorama.
The second day of the Woolorama saw a much-needed cool change, which brought a burst of energy to the event. Coinciding with the WA State Election, Saturday saw a significant increase in the number of visitors as people flocked to the event, making the most of the milder temperatures. At CRISP Wireless, we saw a constant stream of foot traffic through our exhibit. There was significant interest in our wireless network services, including our new NBN plans, which led to engaging conversations with those curious about how CRISP Wireless is helping improve connectivity for the region. As a proud local business, we’re excited to provide tailored solutions to the people of Wagin and the surrounding areas.
In addition to our own network offerings, there was also great interest in our sister company, Regional Communication Solutions. Visitors were particularly keen on learning more about the 4G Celfi phone boosters for homes and vehicles, which are designed to enhance mobile reception in rural and remote areas. The Zetifi SMART antennas, which provide reliable internet connections in even the most challenging conditions, also sparked a lot of discussion. This exchange of ideas and the opportunity to showcase cutting-edge technology was just one of the reasons why Wagin Woolorama continues to be a standout event for the community. It’s a place where businesses, individuals, and families can come together to learn, connect, and celebrate everything the Upper Great Southern region has to offer.
Beyond the event itself, Wagin offers a wealth of attractions and experiences that make it a fantastic place for visitors. Located in the heart of the Upper Great Southern, Wagin is known for its rich agricultural heritage, friendly locals, and stunning natural surroundings. Whether you’re visiting for the Woolorama or planning a trip to explore the region, Wagin is a must-visit destination for those interested in Australian rural life. From bushwalking and nature reserves to local markets and historic landmarks, there’s something for everyone. Make sure to stop by CRISP Wireless when you’re in the Wheatbelt to discover how we can help you stay connected with reliable, fast, and innovative wireless services.
As we reflect on another successful year at Wagin Woolorama, we’re already looking forward to future events and the continued growth of Wagin as a key hub in regional WA. CRISP Wireless is proud to be a part of this dynamic community, and we’re committed to supporting local events and innovation in the region. See you at Wagin Woolorama 2026!
